What is Kidzona™?

Kidzona connects families with children between the ages of 0 and 17 years to savings at businesses and events throughout the state of Arizona, and provides information on free events for that age group. We encourage patronage of local business and support Arizona-based children’s charities and 501 (c) 3 organizations which provide programs and serve to children 0-17 years.

What are the benefits of membership?

Members of Kidzona receive discounts (up to 100% in some cases!) to businesses and events across the state of Arizona when they present their Kidzona Pass. These businesses are listed by city on the Featured Businesses page of our website. The listing includes the business contact information, website link, and custom discount to Kidzona members. Kidzona Pass discounted events can be found on the Activity Calendar using the Members Only filter. Click on event titles for detailed information.

Members must present their Kidzona Pass in order to receive the discount.

Do I need to purchase a Kidzona Pass for each child?

No. The Kidzona Pass is sold on a per household basis.

Do I need to be a resident of Arizona in order to purchase a Kidzona Pass?

No. The Kidzona Pass is available to both residents of Arizona, and domestic non-resident visitors to Arizona.

How will I receive my Kidzona Pass?

Your Kidzona Pass will be mailed to you via USPS First-Class mail®. Please allow five (5) business days for your Kidzona Pass to arrive.  Need your Kidzona Pass sooner?  You have the option at checkout for USPS Priority delivery service (extra fee applies).

Can I start using my Kidzona Pass right away?

You may start using your Kidzona Pass upon receipt. Your Kidzona Pass expiration date will reflect mailing time (i.e. five days will be added from the purchase date of your Kidzona Pass).

Do I need to obtain a Kidzona Pass in order to benefit?

Services available to both members and non-members include:

• Full website access
• Deal of the Day purchase
• Activity Calendar which includes a FREE events filter. Clink on event titles for detailed information (where available).  Free events in this case include individual organization sponsored events.
• Free Activities page includes information on where kids of specified age groups can PLAY FREE during ALL hours of operation for listed AZ organizations.  The Free Activites page also includes information on where kids in AZ can EAT FREE on specified nights of the week.  Finally, the page includes Arizona Public Library links to youth calendars (where available). Arizona Public Libraries without websites/youth calendars may add free youth events on the Activity Calendar.
• Kidzona e-newsletter subscription (weekly publication)

My business is holding a free event. Can I add this event to your Kidzona Calendar?

Yes. Kidzona will promote free, family-oriented events on our Activity Calendar for any Arizona business or organization. Go to the Kidzona Calendar page and click Add Event.  Events are subject to approval.

My business is holding a family-oriented event for a fee. Can I add this event to your Kidzona Calendar?

No.  Only Kidzona Featured Businesses can add events to the Activity Calendar where there is a fee involved.  Kidzona Featured Businesses log in/register to add your event or e-mail us at calendar@kidzona.net.  Events are subject to approval.

Is there a registration fee to be a Kidzona Featured Business?

There is NO registration fee to be a Kidzona Featured Business.  We only ask that you dig deep when creating your custom discount to Kidzona Pass holders.

What are the benefits of being a Kidzona Featured Business?

• Full listing including your company’s website link on our website Featured Business page to include the custom discount your business is offering Kidzona Pass holders.
• Promote special events on our Events Calendar – only Kidzona members can receive the custom discount, but EVERYONE who views the calendar will find out about your special event.  Your event will be included on Kidzona’s Facebook page and Twitter feed the day before and he day of your event.
• Reach even more Arizonans by sponsoring a Deal of the Day. Featured Businesses receive a 5% discount.
• “Thank you” business name/city listing in our weekly Kidzona e-newsletter for becoming a Featured Business.

How much does it cost to sponsor a Deal of the Day?

There is NO initial cost to sponsor a Deal of the Day. Kidzona takes a percentage of your sponsored deal sold -15% for Kidzona Featured Businesses and 20% for non-Featured Businesses. Ten percent (10%) of our proceeds go to an Arizona-based 501 (c) 3 organization OF YOUR CHOICE which provides programs or services to children 0-17 years.

I am interested in sponsoring a Deal of the Day. Who do I contact?

Contact Kelly Gebhardt Taylor at kelly@kidzona.net to design your custom Deal of the Day. You set the terms and limits on your deal, INCLUDING limiting the number of deals sold.  We do require your deal to be a minimum of 50% off your product or service.

I am interested in purchasing a Deal of the Day. Do I need to be a Kidzona Featured Business?

No. Anyone can purchase a Deal of the Day.
